Kim Victoria Cattrall (born August 21 1956) is a British-Canadian actress most well-known for her performance as Samantha Jones in the HBO series Sex and the City for which she was awarded five Emmy Award nominations and four Golden Globe Award nominations winning the 2002 Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress. Samantha Jones reprised her role in the film Sex and the City (2008) as well as Sex and the City 2 (2010).
